Mickey's Family Crab House is located in Bethany Beach, Delaware 1 Block from the ocean. Mickeys Family Crab House has been up and running since May of 1990, which makes us now going on our 17th season. It was founded by Michael Walker, best known to all as "Mickey." The main attraction to the restaurant is, of course, the steamed crabs. However, we also serve a wide array of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and entrees. Always focusing on quality above anything else, we always strive to find the best, local, high quality ingredients in all our food right down to the fresh produce. We stand to have a casual, laid back, atmosphere catering to all. We have a standard lunch, dinner, and children’s menu, as well as offering several daily specials created in the kitchen with TLC! You can also order Steamed Crabs and Crab Cakes for carry out, or order Mickeys Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Steamed Crabs to be shipped overnight via Fed Ex. Please check out Internet store on page 5 for all our products. So when you vacation in Bethany, come on in and meet our friendly staff. Have a cold one and eat some awesome Seafood. BETHANYRESTAURANTS.COM REVIEW
This is a great crab/seafood place with the atmosphere of a run down shanty, which it is. But, those of us who go here all the time don't mind eating on brown paper covered picnic tables and don't want its rustic charm changed one bit. It is located on Rt 1 near the Bethany Holiday Inn express.

The crabs were decent, but my server added an additional $10 to the tip that I left on my credit card receipt. I didn't find out about it until it cleared on my card and the management would not take responsibility for it or refund me the $10. I would never eat there again based solely on that.
customer 1 - posted: Monday, May 20th, 2013 @ 8:53 pmI'm new to Bethany however Blue Crab is in my blood. I ate at Mickey's for the first time and had a half dozen larges and peel and eat shrimp. The crabs were heavy and full of meat. The shrimp were perfect sized and cooked to perfect! Easy to peel and very tasty.

We found them to be nice and heavy, second time we were not so happy. The dozen of crabs was light,with a lot of paper shells, don't think we be back if this crab shack is not consistent, to many other crab houses in area.... 5/29/12
