Grotto Pizza Since 1960
Grotto may mean "cave" in Italy, but in Delaware it means pizza - lot's of pizza! Placed in a row, the number of Grotto Pizza pies sold each year would stretch beyond the length of Delaware and Pennsylvania combined!

Grotto's has become THE Delaware beach pizza place over the last 30 years or so. They have locations all along the DE beaches. Most folks, but not all, like their pizzas, subs, salads and sandwiches. They have eat in restaurants and also deliver within a specified radius of their two Bethany locations(one on Rt 26 and one on Rt 1). Good place to take the family. The location on Rt 26 has an attached kid's game room.

A standard in LSD. Sometimes there is a wait on busy summer nights, but the line moves quickly. Great, friendly service. Decent pizza. Good subs. Great atmosphere for kids, too. We wanted to stop in and watch the Nats game. The waitress did everything she could to make it happen. The evening was very busy and there was a small glitch with our order. It was promptly corrected and removed from our bill. Grotto may not be the absolute best around, but they understand how to run a successful business and guarantee return customers.
