Good place to pick up the morning coffee, paper, and breakfast and NOW they also have dinner Thursday through Sat. with wines and spirits. Located on Rt 26 in Ocean View. Also, has free Wi Fi access and comfortable couches to sit on while waiting for a table or just having a coffee. Usually crowded for breakfast on the weekends and in the summer. The dinner menu is now among the finest in Bethany. We had dinner here recently after reading other favorable reviews of the dinner menu, and rate everything 4 stars, except the expense which we rate at 3 stars. Unfortunately, due to a software glitch, right now the BR.com listed ratings are wrong, but they will be corrected shortly. You really need to give the dinner menu a try!

Had dinner here last week with friends and were all impressed with both the food and service. The mussels appetizer, recommended by our waiter Eddie, was just luscious and our main dishes more than fulfilled our expectations. The setting was comfortable and friendly rather than stuffy, and all of the staff were helpful. We look forward to returning and highly recommend this to other diners. It was a pricey meal but absolutely worth it because of the experience and the memories created.

Really love this place for breakfast/brunch. They have a wonderful fresh fruit platter and my fiance always gets their bagle w/ lox and cream cheese. Food is consistantly good and service is friendly and prompt. Kool Bean is one of Ocean View's hidden gems.

We have been going to Kool Bean since they opened on Rte. 26. We have tried to keep it a secret but haven't been too successful. We just have to talk to our friends about this place because everything about it is just great! The owner, Nancy, can't sit still. She is constantly checking to make sure customers are being taken care of which is always nothing to worry about since the waiters and waitresses are wonderful. We are regulars for breakfast and lunch especially since they are open early. Dinner is out of this world and they are constantly coming up with fresh food and ideas to add to the menu. They recently were named best bistro in the Delaware magazine. Well deserved, I'd say!

Absolutely love this place. They have a great breakfast/brunch menu and awesome coffee selection. I got the brie and fruit breakfast and it was fantastic. My kids like the breakfast menu as well which is a plus, prices are good as well. Only issue i have is it is so far out on rt. 26 i wish it was closer into town so we could walk there but def. worth the drive.
