This past Saturday we went here for Marie's birthday. We've eaten here many times before and our favorite dish is the ciopinno, mussles, clams, shrimp and sausage served with pasta and a delicious spicy red sauce. This time we were told that pasta ano longer came with the dish, but we could order it if we wanted. We were not told there was a $4.00 upcharge per plate. A spicy red sauce without pasta is of little value to the dish, and this nickle and dime way of adding it is a sure way to drive customers away.

We absolutely love Perucci's. The restaurant is clean, the staff is very friendly and we often introduce friends to this restaurant. We are regular customers and will continue to be. Make reservations. It's often a Full-House.

This was our second time at the restaurant. Our first time was shortly after they opened and it was less than satisfying. Things have gone downhill since then. We went for the 3 for $13 special and at that low price I still feel I got ripped off. The menu had a very small selection for the $13 with most meals having up charges. Perucci's is no more than a small diner trying to give the image of an upscale restaurant.

My "GO TO" resturant since opening night!Owner always accomadating even when we don't have reservations. Would love the recipe for a wonderful cake we had there on a Saturday night in late September that the Owner's wife made. We also went to the Feast of the Seven Fishes and shared a table when we were seated (second seating). Had a fabulous time even with the long wait which in my opinion is the sign of a great restaurant worth waiting for. Never been disappointed! ps:really want that recipe!

I am a local in the Bethany Beach area and I brought several of my friends home from my university for the weekend. We were struggling to find a place we could afford yet still get an amazing meal and perucci's was just that! The atmosphere was so comfortable that we ended up staying for two hours and every course we had was better than the next - starting with the delicious calamari with the three very tasty sauces (much better than the standard marinara served at most places), i ordered the manicotti for my main and is was just divine, yet the best was really saved for last - perucci's tiramusi and cheesecake were honestly, to.die.for!!!! Our bill ended up being so reasonable that I will absolutely be back with more friends for the best Italian restaurant in the area!! ps. one of my friends has both a lactose and a gluten allergy and perucci's menu offers selections without both within all their courses!

My husband and I recently ate at Perucci's for our 29th Anniversary. The hostess was very helpful, sharing her ideas of menu favorites before we were seated. Our waitress, Sarah, was very professional and took excellent care of us. My husband and I shared the Fried Mozzarella appetizer which uses fresh mozzarella and has a very light batter. It was the best I've tasted! We also shared a Caesar salad which was very fresh and delightful. My husband had the Manicotti and I ordered the Veal Scaloppini al parmigiano, both served with the Sunday sauce. Everything was very tasty and done just right. We also enjoyed their bread which has a hard crust and softer center. We will return!

We are visiting from Colorado and read all the reviews and decided to go with an open mind. The atmosphere was wonderful, very quaint and rustic. We have been to Italy and this restaurant could have been tranported from there. Our server was wonderful, very knowledgeable about the food and wine. We started with the calamari, and I must say it was the best we have ever had!! Very crispy and it came with 3 very different dipping sauces, and not one of them was the usual marinara sauce. We had the lasagne and manicotti. Both were excellent and served with the Sunday sauce which was wonderful. It was not burned, as previously reported. The caesar salad had one of the best dressings we've ever had, and the watermelon and tomato salad special was divine. For dessert we had the tiramisu, which rivaled any we have had in Italy and the caramel panna cotta, which was so good, I had to resist licking the glass. All in all we are very happy we went, and will definitely return next year!

Dined at Perucci's before so we decided to go back. I understand they have a new chef which tells me why the sauce was burned, the calamry was soggy and not cooked. We tried to discussed our displeasure with the owner but he was in a hurry to pick up his wife as he had reservations with a restaurant in Rehoboth. I don't understand a small business owner not being at his business on a Friday Night in the month of July. This Small Business Owner will expect us to feel sorry for him when the business fails. We are not going back.

Our party of 7 last evening was very demanding, and our server made sure that everyone was happy. We are from LA with access to 5 star restaurants; our meals ranked right up to LA standards. Thanks for a great evening.

They do not schedule enough time between parties. They require deposits for large parties. They do nothing to make people happy. Bad taste all around.
