My wife and I just went there for lunch. We had lobster rolls and ice cold beers, it was GREAT

Peach cobbler dessert was superb. My wife's wahoo was very good. My tuna was inedible.6 Service was rushed. Entrees were plopped down when we were half way through our salads, even though there was no waiting line and there were empty tables.

I went to Matt's Fish Camp with my parents for dinner tonight. Our server was Anastasia and she was very friendly and knowledgable. The food was served quickly and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The crab cakes have SUPER LUMP crab meat and were great! I would definitely go back again :) Thanks Anastasia!

Wow! I find it fascinating that people get offended by poor reviews. Isn't that what makes a review legitimate? If everyone thought the same way, this type of forum wouldn't exist. So, while you're sitting there eating your great food at Matt's Fish Camp, you can enjoy the high prices and lousy atmosphere. Be ready to challenge anyone with a different opinion and make inane accusations about ulterior motives. Despite what anyone thinks, Matt's is NOT up to par with the other establishments associated with this place.

I think many of the reviews are intentionally trying to hurt this place. I moved here 2 years ago and find that it's always good to try out the different spots - and there are many changes in this town - as they pop up. Yes, this is owned by a guy who has several restaurants - so what? - stop being jealous - if you don't like him or his success, move along....I don't know the owner or really care to - i go out to have fun and a new experience... so, I did and honestly, it was a bit pricey ( go figure! it's bethany in summer) but a pretty good time with attentive wait staff and the food was good...

We don't agree at all with the negative reviews. We had excellent softshell crabs and seafood stew. Not inexpensive, and intentionally not fancy, but we really enjoyed it.
