This place is friggin awesome. Long story short, 9 of my closest friends and acquaintances spent St. Patrick's Day 2012 in OCMD. On the way back to our host's house in Bethany we drunkenly stopped at Turquoise and the experience was nothing short of magic. Literally had the most fun drinking, eating, dancing (St. Patty's Day Belly Dancer anyone??) experience ever. You would think that we would have been at least shunned if not kicked out, but no. Not at Turquoise. I'm pretty sure it was a St. Patrick's Day miracle. We might be back on Saturday. Sorrynotsorry in advance...
Now I have to preface this with the fact that it has been YEARS since I have had a good Greek restaurant to go to. Upon mentioning this, a date brought me here for dinner.
This was some of the most fantastic Greek food I have ever had. I was really blown away by both the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Didn't have to wait an unreasonable amount of time for the food after ordering, service was friendly and the restaurant itself was very cool.
Love this place
I was recently in charge of a luncheon for 20 ladies in my community. The date of the luncheon was changed a few times and, mostly due to my fault, we all arrived for lunch a week early! NOT a problem here! Within about 10 minutes, the tables were arranged, and we were seated with our (pre-arranged) menus in front of us. In no time, our orders were taken, drinks were served, followed by soup, the entree and then dessert. WOW! The food and the service were great! Please give them a chance, as they are new owners since last summer.
Gave this place a 2nd try again tonight. My first visit was two reviews ago. Again gyro platter good. Same craooy service. Service only good to bar customers and. $6.25 for a dogfish head beer at happy hour. What a joke. Never again. Go down the street to the cottage!
