Hostess: efficient, courteous Servers pleasant, but uninformed, didn't know what they were out of. We'd place an order and she's have to come back to say "they were out of it." Bar: Drinks good; slightly over priced Kitchen: Got my food wrong. EXTREMELY SLOW!!!! (and the restaurant not all that busy) My spinach, mushroom, queso bland, tasteless. No side salsa-nothing. Menu is all ala carte, but they could make the presentation "interesting." Restaurant out of requested entrees (one a special, one mahi), NO desserts available.....(We ate about 6:45 p) PORTIONS SMALL. Taco salad-not good. Meat tough and little of it. Guacamole "at the table side" Overpriced. 10.00 for 1 avocado. Bland. My guacamole is MUCH better. (Tabasco and tomato in mine) The mortar and pestle is "stone textured" so you lose your dip in the pores. Did I say SLOW and overpriced for portion size?? Décor: OK... but the pretty metal ceiling and the music, make it too loud. .

I wanted to like it, just like I wanted to like peruccis(same owners), they both fall short. I think it is a beautiful space, but food is less than so so. They need to go to agave or even dos locos. I live in Bethany, I want to at in Bethany, but I want good , no great, food. Interesting tres leche, nothing like any I have ever had before, but not bad.

Very impressed with the food and the service. Nice addition to the food scene in BB. Went back a second time!

I was visiting friends in ocean view, and we decided to try the new restaurant sabor which just opened this summer. The décor was very inviting, tin ceilings and lots of wood and great pictures. We ordered the gold margarita and the pomegranate margarita. Both were great and we were told they are made with fresh squeezed lime juice and agave nectar and top shelf tequilas. We had fundito with chorizo sausage and table made guacamole for appetizers and tacos and chilaquiles for entrees. All were very tasty and served with great sauces. We had the flan and tres leches cake for dessert, and they were the best we've had. All in all the menu and food are authentic and deliciour. We can compare because we have traveled through Mexico and are very excited to have a true latin restaurant at the beach.

We ate here for the first time last night and absolutely loved it! They provide tableside Guacamole service, and it is to die for. Then we had a special entre called Chilaquiles, which is 3 layers of deliciousness, and a side of chipotle corn on the cob. Topped it off with wonderful house made sangria...tried the white and the red, both very tasty! This is the best Mexican style food we've had since moving here from Arizona! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Sabor does accept reservations. Happy Hour from 4 to 6 features a good tasting of the main menu. After two visits, we can say that we have tasted a wide variety of the menu and enjoyed everything we ate. This is the restaurant for you if you like authentic hispanic food. It reminded us of Baja California and mainland Mexico. The margharitas are great and the Tres Leches dessert is awesome. A hidden gem in Bethany Beach. If you like Perucchis you will love this too.
