Mickey's Family Crab House
The crabs were decent, but my server added an additional $10 to the tip that I left on my credit card receipt. I didn't find out about it until it cleared on my card and the management would not take responsibility for it or refund me the $10. I would never eat there again based solely on that.

I'm new to Bethany however Blue Crab is in my blood. I ate at Mickey's for the first time and had a half dozen larges and peel and eat shrimp. The crabs were heavy and full of meat. The shrimp were perfect sized and cooked to perfect! Easy to peel and very tasty.

As full timers here in the area this was our first time we had crabs from mickey's. We found them to be nice and heavy, second time we were not so happy. The dozen of crabs was light, with a lot of paper shells, don't think we be back if this crab shack is not consistent, to many other crab houses in area.... 5/29/12

Blue Coast Seafood Grill and Fish Market
CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS PLACE AND FOOD IS GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ALL BUT REMEMBER YOU MAY TO WAIT SOME TIME TO GET SEATED BUT YOU CAN CHILL OUT WITH THEIR DRINKS

We dined at Blue Coast on a Saturday night and enjoyed a great meal. For appetizer the Mussels, Dumplings and Crab cakes were great. Our server, Brianna did an excellent job of explaining the menu items, everything came out correctly and quickly. Brianna also had great knowledge of the menu items. I had the Surf and Turf; the fried Lobster Tail was great and the soy based dipping sauce was sweet with a little tang. The steak was cooked the way I ordered and was great also. I had the Bread pudding for desert which came with a scoop of ice cream. I was very happy with my meal and Brianna did a great job. I will definitely go back.

Our all time favorite place to eat while on our annual trek to the beach! Worth the wait and always a fun time on the deck while drinking and waiting for our table. A pleasant wait staff and extroidinary food and view of the bay while eating. Don't know what we would do or where we would go for our traditional family dinner if Blue Coast was not there any longer. The best of Bethany!!

What are you people doing??? I was in Saturday night with my girlfriends for dinner. Hadn't been in since last time I was down in Novemeber. New menu is all sandwiches. plus it looks like a greek diner menu. What is going on with the Fat Tuna? I heard the place was sold. Great. But come on. You might as well call it the fat stuffed grape leaf. Thought you guys were Mexican. The place certainly isn't the same and my opinion isn't worth much but I doubt you'll make it through the summer. RICE PUDDING WITH CHERRIES?? Is it 1983? am I in a Greek Nightmare? Then to top it all off the DJ starts and lets just say the atmosphere changed and I thought I was suddenly transported to center city Baltimore. Not what we've grown to know and love of Fat Tuna. On a positive note. I love the TV's in the dining room. Go PHILLIES!

I AGREE WITH SAD.. TOOK THE FAMILY THERE SATURDAY FOR DINNER. WE WERENT AWARE THAT IT HAD BEEN SOLD. BUT I DEF AGREE THAT THE STAFF SEEMED ABSOLUTELY MISERABLE. WHICH WAS A MAJOR CHANGE FROM WHAT WE HAD ALWAYS EXPERIENCED IN THE PAST. THIS WAS ONE PLACE WE ALWAYS KNEW THAT THE STAFF WOULD BE POLITE, AND OUTGOING. IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM THE SAME. OUR FOOD WAS OK BUT IT SEEMED THAT THE PORTIONS WERE SMALLER. THE MENS ROOM WAS FILTHY, WHICH WAS A HUGE CHANGE. FAT TUNA ALWAYS HAD THE NICEST CLEANEST BATHROOMS IN THE AREA. MY WIFE IS VERY FUNNY ABOUT RESTROOMS AND ALWAYS COMMENTED IN THE PAST ON HOW CLEAN THE RESTROOMS WERE. OH WELL. MAYBE THE NEW PEOPLE ARE ADJUSTING. IT WILL BE AWHILE BEFORE WE TRY IT AGAIN.

We Come at least once a week regardless of how busy it is. Excellent sushi without pretentious prices or attitude. Don't skip it to drive to Rehoboth or ocean city...nothing else compares.

This week they made some changes, raised the price by $1 and no more glass of wine. Still one of the best values around. Southern theme tonight, started with a chef amuse bouche of a yummy hush puppy. Three of us tried as much as we could. Onion soup, spicy and yummy, risotto delish. The 2 salads and deviled eggs with crab, all yummy. We had fried chick and braised beef, amazingly delish. The strawberry shortcake dessert remains a mystery to us, a very yummy cake base topped with berries and cream. Even with a bottle of wine and 2 glasses we still paid less for 3 than we paid for 2 at 14 global last night.

Perucci's
This past Saturday we went here for Marie's birthday. We've eaten here many times before and our favorite dish is the ciopinno, mussles, clams, shrimp and sausage served with pasta and a delicious spicy red sauce. This time we were told that pasta ano longer came with the dish, but we could order it if we wanted. We were not told there was a $4.00 upcharge per plate. A spicy red sauce without pasta is of little value to the dish, and this nickle and dime way of adding it is a sure way to drive customers away.

We absolutely love Perucci's. The restaurant is clean, the staff is very friendly and we often introduce friends to this restaurant. We are regular customers and will continue to be. Make reservations. It's often a Full-House.

This was our second time at the restaurant. Our first time was shortly after they opened and it was less than satisfying. Things have gone downhill since then. We went for the 3 for $13 special and at that low price I still feel I got ripped off. The menu had a very small selection for the $13 with most meals having up charges. Perucci's is no more than a small diner trying to give the image of an upscale restaurant.

Turquoise
This place is friggin awesome. Long story short, 9 of my closest friends and acquaintances spent St. Patrick's Day 2012 in OCMD. On the way back to our host's house in Bethany we drunkenly stopped at Turquoise and the experience was nothing short of magic. Literally had the most fun drinking, eating, dancing (St. Patty's Day Belly Dancer anyone??) experience ever. You would think that we would have been at least shunned if not kicked out, but no. Not at Turquoise. I'm pretty sure it was a St. Patrick's Day miracle. We might be back on Saturday. Sorrynotsorry in advance...

The Bistro at Bear Trap Dunes
Tried the Osso Bucco from the regular menu. It noted a pork shank rather than the traditional veal shank. $25.00. OK, so I tried it. Freaking horrible. It was a nice shank on a slight bed of what may have been mashed potatoes, all swimming in bbq sauce. BBQ SAUCE? The only thing right was the company I came with and the martini I drank.

Yet when I called that afternoon... I was told it was on a first come basis..... I will have to find someplace else on Tuesday nights...seems they have different rules for different people. Wife and I decided to give this restaurant one last try before adding it to the increasing list of bad restaurants in Bethany. We, unfortunately, remember a time about a decade ago when eating at DiFebo’s could be a pleasant experience and so badly wish it would return to the quality it once was…. So with our wishful thinking caps on we entered the restaurant with our kids in the hopes that this would be an establishment we would frequently patronize. So with excitement brimming we order some adult beverages… and, the two martinis tasted like something that was mixed with Sunny D juice boxes. Next, we received calamari that was maybe just par, yes somewhat crispy, but lacked any real fresh taste. After waiting close to an hour after finishing our appetizer and several adult beverages to dull the pain of paying for poor service and average food our main course arrived. It was a pasta dish with red sauce that had a “metallic” taste that would make any adolescent kid happy to know Chef Boyardee comes in a number 10 can. Never again! Skip

I should have gone somewhere else based on the star rating. The service was horrible and the food was average. The waiter never brought the appetizer as ordered, and only checked on our table once after the kitchen staff brought out our meal. After we finished our meal the plates sat there for over ten minutes before he asked if we wanted anything for dessert. I'm not sure why the service was so bad, it wasn't extremely busy or anything like that, maybe their summer staff was gone and this was their off season staff. We went there expecting a much better dinner and were very disappointed.

Northeast Seafood Kitchen
Excellent food. May be the best place in O.V. Unfortunately the no substitutions policy is a little unreasonable. I didn't want fries and requested a veggie or small salad. Either would be fine. I'd like to think that when I'm spending premium dollars, I'd get premium service. Even if it's an extra charge, I'd be ok with it.

The BEST restaurant and possible best kept secret around the Bethany/Rehobeth/Fenwick area. The Lobster BLT is my favorite-a superb piece of lobster meat in a tasty sandwich combination. But everything we've tried has been delicious. So far, the best in the Sodel group by far. And a bit quieter than others too. Don't let the shopping center location fool you...rather odd to have such a high quality restaurant in a center with a mattress and UPS store.

The Blue Crab
We were there on Labour Day. The were several seats in the frot but they waanted to sit us in the back by the restrooms. When we asked if we could sit in the many open tables in the front, we were toldd they were reserved. I was ready to leave but my husband spoke to a manager, who was able to seat us in one of the "reserved" spots. We ordered the all you can eat crabs. To my amazement the food was really good. For $37 we got medium crabs that were seasoned with the sweetest white meat. The all you can eat corn on the cob was excellent as well. Surprisingly so was the chicken. The hushpuppies were dry. I plan to go again in the end of September to se if the quality of the food is the same. This time i will make reservations.

I was expecting a full Italian restaurant and instead found a good Italian American one. I believe that the menu should have only Italian dishes and presented the "old world" way. Italian bread is served with spiced olive oil, not butter and Anti pasta is always served first usually with your selection of wine,The entree is then presented and salad served afterward. Dinner is completed with a bowl of selected fruit, a cup of espresso and dolcini. The gravy that was served was very good but sometimes the diner would prefer a choice,i.e. bolognese, marinara or al fredo, the same with pasta selection. The restaurant is clean, has a well stocked bar area, good desserts and friendly staff, however the servers should be familiar with describing individual dishes and what is available. I would return occasionally.

In spite of ordering from D'Ortone's frequently, they have taken to turning away carry out orders. Twice now, I have called to order a carry out meal, and have been told that they were not taking carry out orders due to a busy dining room. In both cases, I said I had no problem waiting even an hour to pick up my food, but was still turned down. Apparently, this place would rather serve dine-in customers who come once a year than a regular customer who - up until now - was ordering twice weekly at least. Prediction: This place will not be here next season with a business model like this one.

Tried to have a nice last night date with my wife and figured we would give this a try despite some previous warnings from friends about bad experiences (they happened many years ago). We ordered the sea food fires, good luck finding the seafood. My wife ordered the fried shrimp platter and the shrimp tasted burnt, like someone had emptied an entire ashtray into the deep fryer. We even offered to let the staff and management taste the shrimp, but they refused stating they didn't like fried shrimp (but they still know what fried shrimp are supposed to taste like????). My wife and I split my entree, the scallops platter which was just ok. Even after biting into a single shrimp we were charged for the entire meal. Worst meal ever at the beach, there are so many other great restaurants down here, try all of them before you even consider the Cottage Cafe.

Food served while leaking sink or commode leaked into dining area. Should have been closed and repaired before serving. Items ordered not served. Just a restaurant joke.

Big Peaches
Food was just bar food. The place was very dirty. They need to shut down a clean up their act.

Penguin Diner
Reasonably clean and decent menu. Overpriced, but considering its location they would be silly not to. Grilled chicken mex salad chicken not so good. Fries are the extra crispy type -good by me. French toast was decent. Fresh lemonade was weak. Staff was very nice and working hard.

Grotto Pizza
A standard in LSD. Sometimes there is a wait on busy summer nights, but the line moves quickly. Great, friendly service. Decent pizza. Good subs. Great atmosphere for kids, too. We wanted to stop in and watch the Nats game. The waitress did everything she could to make it happen. The evening was very busy and there was a small glitch with our order. It was promptly corrected and removed from our bill. Grotto may not be the absolute best around, but they understand how to run a successful business and guarantee return customers.

Armands Chicago Pizzeria
Absolutely terrible pizza and subs. Got two large regulars and a chicken parm and eggplant parm subs. Sauce was terrible. Pizza was thin and crust was tasteless. I think I've had better microwaveable pizza. On the box it states that it's one of the best in the world an i'll be craving this pizza. I was craving to write a terrible review.

Number 1 Chinese Food Restaurant
Food was pretty good overall. We had chicken with broccoli, general tso's, sweet and sour chicken, and vegetable lo mein. All were pretty comparable to a decent place at home. Eggrolls were not great and should be avoided.

Great place to eat in or carry out. I have just about given up on Chinese food, but this place is a must when my family hits the beach area. Friendly, clean, and great food.

The Cafe on 26
We bought a gift certificate (paid $25 for a $50 gift certificate from Q105's 1/2 Price hook-up). Went for lunch a couple of weeks ago and had great service. The food was good. Before we left the waitress gave us our certificate back showing how much money remained ($16). Went back today for lunch and the entire experience was rotten. Our waiter was missing in action--so much so a waitress noticed and took over. Again, food was good. Time to pay! Give them the gift certificate and enough cash to take care of the tab. Another person (the owner or manager) came back and said she wouldn't honor the remaining amount on the certificate because I was supposed to use the entire card at one time on our previous visit...nor did she return the gift card in question. I've looked on another gift card we've bought from 1/2 Price Hook-up and see nothing about having to use the entire $50 at one time. We been to Cafe on 26 several times in the past but today will be the last time. Cafe on 26 has lost a repeat customer over $16. Not smart!

Don't come hungry because you'll be disappointed. Had breakfast and left starving. Portions are small. My omelet came with one piece of toast and a little hash browns. The service was slow as well. All the tables were waiting for food and their was a lot of people in the kitchen socializing, certainly not expediting the food. They may have great coffee, but don't expect more.

We ate there for Father's Day and the dinner and service was excellent. The gluten fee food was excellent, especially the bread.

Surf's Up
We drive from WDC to get the cheese steaks! The best ever and I spent every summer in Philly growing up. The Philly steak and cheese is NO match for the Surf's up cheese steak. MHRT

By far our favorite place to eat when we come down to Bethany for our annual family vacation. In fact we are headed that way tomorrow morning for vacation and guess where dinner will be tomorrow night? Drooling already just thinking about it. The owner is a great guy and all of the staff are very friendly. I can't wait to get my hands on one of those cheesesteaks tomorrow!
